Rusty Oysters is a colorway inspired by the weathered timber of the Mornington Pier, where sea spray, time, and rust have left their mark. The base of this shade is a muted, silvery grey—like the sun-bleached wood of the pier—overlaid with warm, rusty tones reminiscent of corroded iron bolts and salt-kissed metal fittings. Hints of soft, washed-out blues and seaweed-stained greens peek through, evoking the tidal shifts and marine life clinging to the old wooden boards.
There’s a sense of history in this colour, a quiet beauty in the way nature reclaims man-made structures. The interplay of cool and warm tones makes Rusty Oysters a versatile and complex shade, perfect for projects that draw inspiration from coastal landscapes, weathered textures, and the contrast between decay and resilience.

I’m in love with this yarn! It’s delightfully soft with a slight slubbyness and totally beautiful. White Cloud is a very apt name for this glorious yarn. It comes from a Swiss Mill and as one of my first yarns it's close to my heart.
It is recommended that you hand wash in cool to luke warm water with a special wool detergent. Slight bleeding may occur but should not effect the final colour.
