Description
Dark Lacquer Red is a darker more classic deep red (and an adaptation of the Lacquer Red that is part of my line - rich and mysterious. Based on the wonderful heavy red doors and funnery vessels that are found in China as is the regular Lacquer Red but deeper and darker. It the perfect colour for a lustrous silk and I will be testing on other bases before making it on them. Tonal variation throughout the skein.

A beautifully glossy silky yarn. Just so luxurious … and a pleasure to knit with.
When knitted this yarn has a wonderful rich and lustrous handle and drape just as a pure silk item should be - I love it and hope you do too.
It is recommended that you hand wash in cool to luke warm water with a special silk detergent. Slight bleeding may occur but should not effect the final colour.
