Berries and Ashes set - 4 ply Aussie Merino - Billy 4

Fallen Ashes is one of my Australian inspired colours and part of The Ancient Forest Collection. On Billy it takes on an interesting olive brown colour with occasional tinges of ash grey. It's a gorgeous colour on a gorgeously soft yarn. Tonal variation throughout the skein from olive to ash grey. This forms the main part of the kit.

It is complemented with two brighter colours that are used to give an accent to the yoke of a sweater. Bush Berries is a rich red/ pink, and Ginko leaf is a wonderful bright lime green with a hint of pea. Presented in just the right amount (plus a bit extra) so you're not paying for the whole skein for the details.

Use it to make a gorgeous Dolly cardigan or a Floozy or another pattern that uses one main colour base with two contrasting colours!

Billy 4 care and information

Billy comes from a farm in New South Wales that has been severely affected by the drought here in Australia. The farm was under threat during the bushfires of 2019-20.

Billy is a non superwash Australian merino - beautifully soft but it will felt if not handled with care. 

Hand wash, cool water, no agitation
