2 ply, lace yarn. 100 g = 700 metres These two skeins are underweight and weigh 90g. - which gives you 630m. They have been priced accordingly.

Echinacea: 70% Silk & 30% Alpaca

A semi glossy and luxurious Royal alpaca and silk lace yarn, spun in Switzerland.

When knitted this yarn has really great stitch definition, good strength (due to the silk) and has a lovely handle and drape. The silk provides enough strength to hold beads, whilst the alpaca gives it a sleek softness.

It is recommended that you hand wash in cool to luke warm water with a special silk detergent. Slight bleeding may occur but should not effect the final colour.
