Jade Bracelet - lace weight Tussah silk

My Jade Bracelet was a wonderful find at the site of the Terracotta Warriors. The jade was supposedly found in the mountain overlooking the Warriors burial site. Like my bracelet the yarn is a strong mix of a warm golden yellow with overtones of an olivine green... Quite distinctive and different. Strong tonal yellow/green variations thoughout the skein. On this base the Jade Bracelet is a little more subdued and quiet.

Ujicha - Tussah silk - single ply (two ply weight)

700 metres to 100 grams.

A gorgeous wild Tussah silk from Japan that just glows with richness and beauty… truly an unusual but stunning addition to the Green Tea Yarns line of luxury yarn. Knits up with great stitch definition and an amazing Tussah silk halo. Seeing (and using) is believing).

It is recommended that you hand wash in cool to lukewarm water with a special silk detergent. Slight bleeding may occur but should not effect the final colour.
