Lacquer Red is a brilliant rich vibrant deep rich cherry red. Based on the wonderful heavy red doors and funery vessels that are found in China but here darker and a bit richer. Tonal variations throughout the skein, varying from deep red to blood red to berry. Just stunning.
A little less vivid on this base than on the silks... but still a rich gorgeous colour.
