The Special Edition Forte 2 large sized needle tips are an elegant combination of sleek, stainless steel and luxurious African Blackwood, the small sized are now made of carbon fibre. Due to its metal-like working properties, stability and lustrous surface, African Blackwood is considered the superior wood for making woodwind instruments and Chiaogoo have now incorporated it into these top quality needles. And through the African Blackwood Conservation Project, Chiaogoo have arranged for a new Blackwood seedling to be planted for every set sold. The stainless steel points are perfect for any type of knitting project. The tips are all permanently laser engraved with the diameter and join size which will never wear off.
The Forte 2 set includes the new, advanced silver SWIV360 cables which swivel to avoid twists and give you maximum range of motion, and now come with a set of red lace cables too for those that prefer them.
Also included is a fully-stocked tools and accessories tin, a double-sided swatch/needle gauge, a retractable measuring tape in inches and metric, a sharp pair of scissors, and a pen.
The Special Edition Forte 2 set comes in a beautiful and sturdy grey case to keep everything in its place. It includes a double-sided needle board that firmly holds small sizes on one side and large on the other. The needle board magnetically clips into the case and can easily unclipped. The other accessories are securely kept in place by elastic loops and there are four interior pockets to neatly hold your knitting supplies. The case opens like a book and has a sturdy, full zipper that ensures nothing falls out. Overall, the case measures 24cm x 18cm x 3cm so it’s compact as well as complete. Just grab it and go!
